For sight words I also recommend Spellingcity.com.  I recommend it so much that I have already made several lists for you to practice with at home.  The goal is that your child knows all of the words for each grade before completing the grade.  Ready?

Steps:

1.  Go HERE

2.  Pick a list.  Why not start with List 1?

3.  Select the "teach" link and learn each word.

4.  Click the green button that says, "Play a Game."

5.  Find the spelling game, "Missing Letter Game."  Play this a bunch of times.

6.  Find and play other spelling games.

7.  When your child can read each word to you within three seconds of seeing it, move on to the next list.
